Today we discovered Carlos Garaicoa’s work. A Cuban artist who mixes urbanism, art, architecture, political activism…
We recommend to visit one of his exhibitions as we couldn’t find on internet most of the work we have seen on his exhibition Apparent Order (Poetical-Political) in Santander (Spain).
We really loved the way he plays with pins to “re-build” over pictures in big format, a destroyed building or a demolished facade. His ideas, always based on architecture concepts, can create a new space, a new idea by adding new elements and changing the urban and public spaces of the city.
He has exhibited his work all around the world, letting the Cuban art be known beyond its borders.
