MuMo is a museum on wheels. A truck carrying a collection of contemporary art, focused on kids, through visits and creative workshops to deliver art pieces all around the world, as MuMO stands for museum movable. Until now, they have visited Cameroon, Ivory coast, Belgium, Switzerland and France and nowadays is traveling trough Spain, from Barcelona MACBA, to Madrid Matadero, and from there to Vigo MARCO.

This project was created originally by Ingrid Brochard who combined art pieces specially made for this museum made by Paul McCarthy, Daniel Buren, Maurizio Cattelan, James Turrell, Sébastien Cordoleani, Nari Ward, John Baldessari, Ghada Amer, Florence Doléac, Eija-Liisa Ahtila, Pierre Huyghe, Farhad Moshiri, Roman Signer and Miquel Barceló. The main desire of the organization was to have a multidisciplinary combination of paintings, sculptures, installations, video and design.

An important point about MuMO is the objective, as pieces are not only to stare at them; pieces are an invitation to learn while acting with them and allowing children to be able to get surprised by all the creativity surrounding themselves.
